Rebecca Szczepanski (AKA “The Fabulous Rebecca”) (bottom) is a woman of many talents. Rebecca began practicing Pilates in 2000, but it was not until 2015 that she realized how important it would become in her life. After surgery for a ruptured spinal cord disc, her road to recovery was very long and frustrating. Pilates was her saving grace and an integral part of her healing process. She had the opportunity to become a classically certified instructor through the USPA, the United States Pilates Association, in 2019. She is also a proud wife and mother of 4. When she is not teaching Pilates, she is a medical office administrator for her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Szczepanski. Additionally, she also has her degree as a governess— yes, just like Mary Poppins!— from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. The nurturing aspect of Pilates is something she is very passionate about. Helping others through movement is something that fills her soul with joy. “It is amazing to see people grow and flourish through the mind-body connection of Pilates! Magical really… “ Rebecca is proudly teaching at Nexus Pilates and is available for private lessons. Please contact her at 231-645-2818 or thefabulousrebecca@gmail.com.
